Saw Palmetto has been used in combination with Pygeum to reduce symptoms of BPH (Benign prostatic hyperplasia). Saw Palmetto contains natural phytosterols such as beta sitosterol. These Phytosterols support benign prostatic hypertrophy by inhibiting DHT formation. DHT is also believed to be associated with male pattern baldness. Saw Palmetto is listed in the German E-Monographs as a remedy for BPH.
Directions:
Take 1 capsule 2 times daily with food.
